Saturday 11/15 there will be a protest at Volunteer Park, and at the
same time in most major cities nationwide, against the passing of
California's Proposition 8.
Meeting time is 10:30 a.m. with a peaceful protest walk.

PLEASE spread the word to everyone you know, to attend. Proposition 8
took away people's existing rights, and that should concern us all! I
hope for a mega-huge turnout here and across the country.
I still can't believe Prop 8 passed. Really? We're going to discriminate against a group of people, not grant them the same rights as everyone else? Like it or not it's flat out wrong. No opinions, no religion, no debating. Just wrong.
Unrelated: The babies slept for near 2 hours today. What did I do with the sudden expansion on my 'free' time? I read a book and fell asleep with them. So much for getting things done. To be fair, I forgot my crocheting goodies at home so I couldn't have worked on them but... that's not really a much better reason. Tomorrow is yet another long day so maybe I can get them to sleep well again. And if I don't get my sleeping schedule back in order I might be falling asleep with them more often than I'd like.
